This carving is depicts the creature that lives in the forest called bookwus. Sometimes paralleled with the saskwatch bukwus was hairy with animalistic behavior with a human like body. There are many various stories about the bukwus in various northern native villages of British Columbia, but each story shares bukwus’ love for muscles and clams
