Gordon Miller
Gordon Miller’s art is informed and enriched by scholarly respect for historical detail. Many years of commissions from major Canadian museums place his historical paintings in a special category of interest to native people, to students of anthropology -ethnology- natural history, and to those who love fine art for its own sake. His painting of the Haida World Heritage Site “Ninstints” hangs in the National Museum of Canada. Gordon and his wife Dale live in Vancouver when not sailing their boat on B.C.’s coastal waterways — the spectacular and infinitely precious environment which inspires his art and nourishes all of us who experience it.
