Pat Wesley

Born on April 3, 1930 in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii, BC, Patrick began carving in 1978 and soon after learned silver-smithing. Patrick has worked with Garner Moody, Ding Hutchingson, Bill Bellis and Tim Boyko. In 1985-1986, Patrick worked with Bill Reid on the canoe “Lootaas” which was built for Expo ’86, where he also demonstrated argillite carving. Patrick works in wood, silver, gold, ivory, argillite, and acrylic on canvas.
